I am a beginner and it is great to start off with. The guitar is absolutely beautiful and the accessories are really great. It comes with a dozen picks, an instruction booklet, chromatic tuner, and gig bag. The guitar sounds wonderful. The only con that I have is that the action seems a little high, therefore making it a little tough on beginner's hands. But anything will be tough on a beginner's hands because we are not used to pressing down on thin (or thick for that matter) pieces of steel. Other than that, it is awesome!UPDATE: After having the action adjusted by a pro at a guitar repair shop, the guitar is even more of an absolute joy to play! It does not hurt my fingers hurt at all anymore. So if you are having problems with the action being too high, take it to a local guitar repair shop and have them look at it and adjust it. Your fingers will thank you!!! He is very satisfied now that he has found good strings to replace the original. But no biggie, strings need to be replaced on a regular basis anyway. It has a nice tone and is a nice looking guitar. We purchased another case for the guitar also. But I didn't buy the kit for the guitar cover.
